Standalone Ladakh, Or Combined With Kashmir
Ladakh works well as a trip on its own, flying directly into Leh and covering the circuit from there. It also works as an extension of a Kashmir trip, since Srinagar and Leh are connected by road via Sonamarg, the Zoji La pass and Kargil — a genuinely scenic route in its own right, and one we know well given our base in Srinagar.
Which option makes sense depends on how much time you have and whether you want to experience the overland route between the two regions. We arrange both.

Nubra Valley
Reached via Khardung La, one of the world's highest motorable passes — known for its sand dunes and double-humped Bactrian camels.
Pangong Lake
A high-altitude lake known for changing colour through the day, and one of the most photographed spots on the Ladakh circuit.
Tso Moriri
A quieter, more remote high-altitude lake on the Changthang plateau — for travellers who want to go beyond the more visited Pangong.
Zanskar
A remote valley best known for the winter Chadar Trek along the frozen river — added to itineraries for travellers with extra time.

The high mountain pass connecting Leh to Nubra Valley — a landmark stop on most Ladakh itineraries in its own right.

Before You Go
Altitude & Acclimatization
Leh sits at a high altitude, and some passes go considerably higher. We build in a rest day on arrival, and recommend discussing any health concerns with a doctor beforehand.
Seasonal Access Only
Both the Srinagar-Kargil-Leh and Manali-Leh routes are only open in the warmer months, generally June through September.
Longer Travel Days
Distances between stops on the circuit are considerable — Ladakh trips involve more time on the road than a typical Kashmir itinerary.
