"Amazing arrangements done by the owners, specially by Amir sir's wife. Every hotel booked by them was amazing and we all were very comfortable throughout our visit."
Budgam is the one district on this list with two quiet meadows instead of one — Doodhpathri and Tosmaidan. Here's how they actually compare.
Every other district covered so far maps to one main destination — Ganderbal to Sonamarg, Baramulla to Gulmarg, Anantnag to Pahalgam. Budgam is different. It's home to both Doodhpathri and Tosmaidan, Kashmir's two quieter, less-visited meadow destinations, sitting within the same district but genuinely different in character and accessibility.
Doodhpathri is close enough to Srinagar to work comfortably as a day trip, with rolling green meadows that give it its name — "valley of milk" — a reference to the milky-white streams that run through it. It's the more accessible of Budgam's two offbeat destinations, and a reasonable choice even for travellers who haven't done extensive Kashmir sightseeing before.
Tosmaidan sits further into the district and has a genuinely different history — it was used as an army firing range for decades before reopening to visitors relatively recently. It's more remote, less developed, and better suited to travellers who've already covered the standard circuit and specifically want somewhere quieter and less commercial.
Neither is typically a first-visit destination. Both work best as additions for travellers with some flexibility in their schedule, usually arranged as separate day trips from Srinagar rather than combined into one day, given the driving distance involved.

"Excellent Kashmir travel services! Their scenic Kashmir tours are simply breathtaking."
"Cost-friendly, great service. Must check this one out."
Yes. Both offbeat meadow destinations fall within Budgam district, making it the one district on this list with two distinct quiet destinations rather than one.
Doodhpathri is closer to Srinagar and easier to reach as a day trip. Tosmaidan is more remote, was historically used as a firing range, and has only recently reopened to visitors.
Neither is typically recommended for a first visit. Both work better for travellers who've already covered the core Srinagar-Gulmarg-Pahalgam-Sonamarg circuit and want a quieter addition.
It's possible but tight, given the driving time to each. Most itineraries treat them as separate day trips rather than combining both in a single day.
